Pre Chinese New Year 2005
So lets begin.
The days of the month are counting down faster than anticipated. Three weeks didn't seem like three weeks. Almost a month into the new year and in a week or more, the Chinese New Year celebrations will be about.
Chinese New Year; what a time. Visiting family and friends, open houses, gambling, children running around playing with firecrackers/works(though I'm not too sure on that happening these days). My childhood memories of Chinese New Year always had firecrackers in them-Running around with sparklers in hand, eating traditional foods, watching cheesy programs on national tv that they always rerun every Chinese New Year. I don't exactly know what to anticipate for the coming Chinese New Year. It wouldn't really be the same now that less family is around, and no one would have too much an initiative to organise anything.
