Passive agression
The set up: KLCC food court. I was having a late dinner with Significant Other, after stopping by Chocz for chocolate fondue (dessert before dinner? Well, I was worried that the fondue place would close, and I specifically went down just to eat that). So we stopped by the pasta place in the food court for nice + cheap pasta. As we were standing there, deciding what to eat, two girls came up to the counter. I moved to let them pass since we haven't decided yet anyway. The two girls chatted to themselves while Significant Other and I stood behind them trying to make up our minds. Then one of the girls moved backwards and inadvertedly stepped on my foot, before hurriedly stepping forward and pretending as if nothing happened.
Normally, I wouldn't have really been bothered (me being the meek, laid back, can't care less or too lazy to care type. Well, ok, sometimes). But for some odd reason, I snapped. I turned to Significant Other, and in a very loud, annoyed voice, announced, "You know, when you accidentally step on someone's foot, it is damn rude not to say sorry."
Significant Other gave me this puzzled look. "Someone stepped on your foot?" he asked. "Who?"
I rolled my eyes and continued in the same loud, annoyed voice, "Who else is standing around us?"
At that moment the friend of the girl who stepped on my foot hurriedly moved her friend and herself a little more forward towards the counter.
Not quite satisfied, I continued on. "How FUCKING rude!" I exclaimed to Significant Other.
The girl and her friend promptly walked off in a very hurried manner.
Lol. Yay for passive agressive me, although I'm really not sure if it is a good thing.
